The Zentrum203 viewsThis ante-building, in front of the BMW assembly plant, houses a museum and a gift shop (of course), as well as serving as the starting point for plant tours. Here, we see members of my group heading into the Zentrum after taking delivery of their cars. Leading the way is my delivery specialist, Jonathan, followed by the Greenville orthodontist and the Two X5 Guys from Philly (one scratching ankle).

An Elder BMW at the BMW Museum196 viewsNo, those aren't a couple of my belts.

My M3 in Front of the Plant228 viewsIt was a rainy, misty day. In fact, it was a rainy, misty weekend. I had hoped to do some mountain hiking in North Carolina, but it was too rainy and foggy for that. I did, however, get to test my new fog lights on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Speaking of Which, Here's My M3 on the Blue Ridge Parkway197 viewsThis was a drier moment, of which there weren't many during my visit.

A Place Called Boone's Place along the Blue Ridge Parkway184 viewsThe sign said that Daniel Boone is said to have "used this place" in his travels. Here, we see one of Dan'l's favorite trees.

My M3 an Overlook on the Blue Ridge Parkway216 views

Same Overlook, Different View of My M3176 viewsDuring break-in, for the first 1200 miles, the M3 has to be kept below 5500 rpm and 106 mph. It is pretty easy to keep the overall speed under 100, but very difficult to observe the rev limit.
